A plainclothes policeman (foreground) comes to the assistance of a young man who was being beaten by a group of men at the bus park adjacent to Mandela Park in Half-Way Tree, St Andrew yesterday afternoon. The young man was suspected to have stolen a cellular phone, but was rescued by the policeman who did not discharge his firearm.
